Y’all are gonna hate me but my two favorites are this and European vacation. Christmas vacation is great but I kinda have a resentment towards it only because that the one everyone knows and talks about and most people especially in my age group don’t Ben know about the other ones and that it was actually the third in a series and I think the first two are funnier

My family drove to Disneyland in '68. Dad got lost in the wrong part of LA. He didn't stop though. There had been riots earlier that month (Aug). Dad ran red lights to get out, I guess reasoning that a ticket was worth the price to meet the police.

My family saw this in the theater while we were on vacation in 1983. We thought, “Hey, a movie about a family on vacation and we’re a family on vacation, it’s perfect!” I was 10 and I had three younger sisters. I think my parents were a little uncomfortable for a few scenes, especially my dad because he was a LOT like Clark in many ways.

edit: This is a question asked in the video about the other National Lampoon Vacation movies. They already watched two. Christmas Vacation and Vacation. They also know there is a newer one without Chevy Chase as the lead. My reply was the other two movies, that Chevy Chase was in. I think that's it for Chevy Chase.

@@Aeroldoth3 in Phoenix, pool temps in July and August are typically in the low 90s (not exaggerating) The reason that the hotel pool was cold was because that hotel was actually in suburban Los Angeles (specifically Norwalk). It is actually impossible to have a cold pool in the low desert in the summer, Phoenix doesn't drop below 80°F at night for most of the summer

I am copying and pasting this from another comment I made on another reaction channel. Here is list of almost 200 movies. They are all from the 80's. Not all of them are comedies, but a lot of them are. These would be great movies to react to. I think 80's had all the best movies. --------------------------- When I was younger I worked in a video store with over 10,000 movies. I have watched so many movies, probably more than 10,000, because I watched almost every video at the video store, and that was twenty years ago, and I watched a lot of movies since then. And, a lot of movies before then. I am also into music. Sometimes, people like to argue about what decade is best for music, or what decade is best for movies. I can't pick a decade for music, I can argue almost any decade in my head, and they all seem to come out even. Now movies on the other hand. The best decade for movies was the 80's. I just copied and will paste what I commented on someone else's page. You probably know these 80's movies. But, if you don't, these are all the movies I would suggest before any other movie, even from another decade. Unless it was somebody that never watched The Wizard of Oz or something like that. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- copied and pasted from another comment. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back when movies didn't have to be so serious, or so believable. What a great time to be alive back then. When movies were just about fun, and a great story. Now movies are taken to seriously. That would never happen like that, but back then they said, this is movie and yes it can. 80s have all my favorite movies 1. Commando 2. Gremlins 3. Ghostbusters 4. Back to the Future 5. The Outsiders 6. Karate Kid 7. The Lost Boys 8. Porky's 9. Batman 10. Can't Buy Me Love 11. Sixteen Candles 12. The Breakfast Club 13.Labrytnth 14. Three Amigos 15. Short Circuit 16. Christie Brinkley in the red car scene, is so iconic that it has been parodied in many tv shows, such as Family Guy and The Goldbergs, and in commercials, she also reprises this role in 1997's National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation.

The entire franchise is as follows; National Lampoon's Vacation (1983) National Lampoon's European Vacation (1985) - Cousin Eddie isn't in this one. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989) Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure (2003) - TV Movie, Audrey is the only member of the Griswald family to appear, played by the original actress, Dana Barron. This is the only time in the franchise that a Griswold child is played by the same actor. Vegas Vacation (1997) Hotel Hell Vacation (2010) - Short hotel promotional video where Clark and Ellen stay in a tiny, cramped hotel room. Vacation (2015) - Focuses on an adult Rusty and his wife, although his parents do make an appearance. Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo appear in every film, except for Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure. Personally, I liked them all, although the first and Christmas Vacation are the best. I've never seen the TV movie.

There's an older movie with Chevy Chase - Jane Seymour called Oh Heavenly Dog. It's great. Always loved that movie. Also there's a movie with Martin Short - Nick Nolte called "The 3 Fugitives" Love that movie too. Not a Chevy Chase movie, but it is comedic. Also the movie Captain Tom with Martin Short, Kurt Russell, &ary Kay Place. And of course the movie Splash with Tom Hanks, John Candy, & Daryl Hannah. 👍
