The National Naval Aviation Museum is the world’s largest Naval Aviation museum and one of the most-visited museums in the state of Florida. Share the excitement of Naval Aviation’s rich history and see more than 150 beautifully restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation. These historic and one-of-a-kind aircraft are displayed both inside the Museum’s over 350,000 square feet of exhibit space and outside on its 37-acre grounds.
Have you visited the National Naval Aviation Museum? What was the coolest plane or scene you saw in this video? Let me know in the comments...

That's because the base had limited access on just weekends then. Starting tomorrow, it will be open every day of the week. It is a pretty awesome museum...and it's FREE! Thanks for watching, commenting & supporting!

I love this place. I took my wife on my 4th time going and almost had to drag her out at the end of the day. And got to see the Blue Angels practice. Awesome! 🇺🇸

Thanks! I understand. I wanted to play Naval aviation music throughout the video. Had to end up repeating songs since it was a long video and not much Naval Aviation music out there. Thanks for watching, commenting & supporting!

A view from the UK. By choosing to watch this video i really thought i would learn something about the US naval history, alas no. Why oh why did you not do your research and give a narrative about the exhibits there? The chronology of naval warfare was all over the place with no detail at all. You could have at least dwelled on the Medal of Honour recipients. Sorry to be so negative but as a 73yr old history student i need detail as i will never be able to afford a visit. By posting videos on here, you become the worlds eyes and ears to what you experience.

Thanks for viewing! I'm sorry that what you viewed was not what you expected or wanted. I just wanted to provide an overview of what the museum has on display. If the focus of my channel was about history, then I would have provided alot more details on the exhibits. My KZbin channel is a travel channel. Most of my videos are cruise related and my land trips, not necessarily about history. I know other creators have vlogged the museum with greater detail & historical information. Hopefully you can find other videos that can provide what you are looking for.

I heard that entry to Pensacola (to then get to the Museum) had become quite an issue.
@CaptainBillyJTravels
@CaptainBillyJTravels Жыл бұрын
It was an issue. It was closed to civilians except for 3 or 4 weekends in the last couple of months. Now it is open 7 days a week, thru the West Gate only from 9 am - 3 pm! Thanks for watching, commenting & supporting!

@@CaptainBillyJTravels I was there several years ago and got there early, main gate opens 6am, for Blue Angels practice. East Guard wouldn't let me in, that the gates open at 6am. I look at my watch, my car clock, everything .... SIX AM. I'd been in Pensacola for two days already and had come to the conclusion that the whole town was screwed up with their time, like "WTF is wrong with this place! we're EAST of Detroit, they can't be on central time!" Wrong ... they're on central time lol Instead of waiting, cuz who the foRk wants to do that, I drove over to the West Gate (about ten min drive) and they let me right in.

LOL! 🤣 Yeah, alot of people think we are on Eastern Standard Time here but we're not. We're almost directly south of Chicago, which is Central Time. The time zone changes just west of Tallahassee. I've had to explain the time difference to many people.

@@CaptainBillyJTravels I seem to remember Pensacola being on Eastern time when I was a kid in the 80s, but it's also quite possible that my memories are faulty from the black and white days.
