I have a trick for finding the beta. Since I'm so awful at it, I make a plan of what I think is the correct beta, and then do the opposite.

I liked the side by side comparison, but there was too much going on at once to keep track. Maybe it would help if you paused a clip when one person was ahead to keep things in sync, or if you only played one clip at a time?
