Really interesting video! Most people skip over defining and explaining Nationalism and this is a great explanation of it. Great examples as well!

Lot of patriots don't understand that nationalism is a very modern concept. Well rounded, state standardised narative based. Empires were spontaneously multicultural which doesn't mean they were inherently actively humane or tolerant, oportunities and relations changed.
