Just a quick correction. A bullpup is a firearm with its action behind its trigger group. Turns out a real life "P90" is a bullpup gun too. As a result, in those early development stages, developers decided to change the bullpup design. Please, click on thumbs up to make this comment appear above all messages. Thanks! Regarding the broken parachute model. That mission with Dom uses a different parachute model and what is more importantly, it is is black.

@@remedinho The name, "Ceramic Pistol," comes from a movie that named it the, "Glock 7." I think Rockstar just wanted to avoid all issues with Glock and decided to name it after the movie that made it popular.

Takeshi that was the same in gta 4 with the removed pool cue which was only obtainable with a trainer but for some reason it was only obtainable in the lost and damned single player only and not it's multiplayer.

the beta arsenal was mostly reused stuff from Max Payne 3, but at least the cursed abomination guns like assault shotgun didn't exist back then, honestly why not just reuse some more realistic-looking GTA 4 guns, or just base them more on their real-life counterparts? guns are easier to get away with unlicenced designs than cars, just look at Payday 2

It’s not magazine clip man. It’s just magazine. A magazine and clip are not the same. A clip is to place rounds into a fixed internal magazine and a magazine is an external storage place for bullets with a spring to push the rounds to the chamber.

Actually you're all wrong. Clip comes from bolt action rifles used in WWI WWII era combat rifles. The clip allowed the user to feed an entire magazine simultaneously rather then feeding each round individually. The M1 Garand had the notorious "ping" sound as the clip was not discarded until the last round was emptied from the magazine. Most rifles however discarded the clip upon loading the magazine making the M1 Garand quite unique. There were also detachable box magazines found during WWII on auto-rifles such as the BAR. That concludes this history lesson lol.

Bullpup doesn't mean magazine behind the trigger, it means action behind the trigger, which the P90 IRL has even if the magazine is mounted on top.

Sounds very similar to the dockyard heist in the final game only Franklin is the one providing cover, I forgot what Trevor is doing during all that, and there was no other crew. Otherwise it's the same if you choose to go after the ship instead of the offshore testing.

Actuality you can find tbogt parachute in game the mission where franklin follows the dog and finds a man hanging off a tree. at least I think soo i played it 3 years ago on xbox 360

That was my first reaction when I saw the picture of the broken parachute as that's not used when your parachuting. The man hanging from the tree is Dom Beasley btw, the guy who eventually dies base jumping of the dam. Fun fact: Dom means stupid in Dutch.

The funny part is that the P90 is a very old gun by now, it was designed from 1986 to 1990, which makes it a 30+ years old gun by now, which blows my mind as it still looks like it came out 30 years in the future.

What really annoys me about this game is that you can clearly see a Glock 17 in multiple loading screens, but nothing in the actual game even slightly resembles it, the closest being the combat pistol, which still looks nothing like a Glock. The AKM being removed I can see because the model in the game may fit closer to a civilian market weapon, and give the game a semi-unique style while retaining the classic AK weapon everybody expects, but the Glock? that's a classic gang and police weapon, it's basically the Tommy Gun of the 21st century, how they thought it was okay to replace it with some obscure European sidearm, I will never know.

You know there are things called "weapon modifications". Most of these are just Rockstar's version of weapons,To show what they aimed for but not to trigger copy right.The P90 you so call it could be the FAB or the RFB,and the M4 had the low profile gas block with a flip up sight and a different handguard.The M4 in GTA4 was fitted with a backsight gas block which was a standard with the stock rifle but it could be replaced with a Mk12 and a gasblock rail. Rockstar decided to make their "own" weapon models,for the players to know what weapon it's inspired from.

the p90 and its variations ARE a bullpup PDWs. A bullpup firearm is a firearm where the mag is fed from behind the trigger, allowing for a much larger barrel length in terms with the actuall firearm length. The mag feeds behind the trigger on a P90 so therefore it is bullpup.

The P90 is a bullpup configuration in real life. I think you're confused because of the magazine location. Also, a "magazine clip" isn't a real thing. Clips load magazines. Guns fire from magazines, not clips. If it is used to load a magazine, it's a clip. Easy way to keep the difference straight for non-gun people.

That is not a "bullpup P90", but in fact a real weapon, called the "PS90".

It’s a bullpup and is the FN P90. The PS90 is a civilian model with a longer barrel and safe/semi-automatic; no full auto functionality.

Digging up the past here, but you're correct. It is not uncommon for assets to be shared between titles in the same studio. Sometimes things don't fit the same style, like Witcher & Cyberpunk. But the difference between Max Payne & GTA doesn't seem so high as to prohibit that as long as management/contracts don't forbid it. Especially during an early prototyping stage, it's very common to use placeholder assets. Get some stuff in there so you have an idea how it all works. Then as the rest comes together work on the fine tuning & balancing. Cut or add where needed, etc. Of course GTA Online provides a good opportunity for bringing back old ideas that got cut or didn't make it, or for experimenting with the weird ideas that pop up. Would have been nice for more to get brought into Story Mode, but I guess shark cards don't work there lol

GTA v was my first GTA in 2015. Lately got my hands on 4 and SA and i do prefer them. I don't think GTA v sucks like many GTA 4 fans do, but after playing the other titles and watching videos about it's files like this video it just makes me wonder. Maybe GTA v was supposed to be a much more interesting game ? Because while the map is huge there isn't a lot of variety. The strangers and freaks and random encounters are very great but even if SA has a much smaller map every inch is used while GTA v has lots of empty Mountains. Rockstar talked about single player DLC and it never arrived. Just makes me hate online. So much content seems to have been cut from singleplayer and added to online. Wich is sad because not everyone wants to grind 4 hours everyday with a lobby filled with cheaters. GTA v is very technically impressive but something about it feels off after playing the other games
