This is blatantly RACIST and offensive!!! In 2024, you need to identify the Tribe you are referencing or shut up. I am tired of being lumped into a group by ignorant people like you!! If you saw me on the street, you would probably assume I was something other than full blood Indigenous. Get educated before you speak on my people and other tribes. This CULTURE VULTURE behavior needs to stop. Do some actual research, because most of your videos fall under "misinformation".

I'm Lakota and we do not share the same beliefs. Leo, the future leader of your Nation would tell you the importance of communicating the fact that there are over 400 tribes and we are all different. A lot of Indigenous don't call this stuff out because they like the prestige of being lumped in with the Lakota. The Montana tribes are small and mostly white, the Salish have tribal members that only claim checks 1/16 or less it's pathetic. Our tribes don't need to be lumped in with them and their mess. They are only a few generations from being completely white.... And the crow Tribe, they have no morals and we don't see them as one of us, claiming such things will get you unalived in our state.

My dad’s funeral was the first time I would sit next to the dug hole in the earth under the casket. I had been dreading it. Once I was there beside it I realized I felt comforted. I felt the rightness of the full circle of life. I was peaceful or maybe it’s grateful knowing dad was ready to go, tired of being in bed 24 hours a day unable to care for himself.

Alice, I read your comment here....I know of the town you were born in. TOCCOS is a beautiful place, I have visited there. My mother was white, my father grew up on the reservation and near Bird, TN. His family were all raised there....5 brothers and 2 sisters. My great grandfather had an adopted sister who also was Chocktaw. She had run away when they were being moved from their home in MS. You must be fortunate to have pictures of your people. I only have several of my Dad. These saying and poems are inspiring.......and I can feel you know what it is to be born of the People, to carry their blood. Peace to you.

And those two years were the best of your sweet cat's life. Count on it 💖 Food, warmth, being cozy, and LOVED 💖 Anyone who can abandon an innocent cat, or dog, never loved them at all. People like that shouldn't even have goldfish. We took in a cat on Dec 23, 2022. I, and another woman, had been feeding him for the five years after his "family" moved away. He never was very friendly, but he did get food daily. I think he was freaked out about being left behind outside. Lately he'd been losing weight, and I just couldn't take it anymore - seeing him all scrunched up, trying to stay warm. My husband who said NO MORE CATS! said to try and catch him. So the woman and I came up with plans ... Her husband was able to grab him, and called us 7:34 AM the 23rd. Grizzy spent the first four weeks in the kneehole of my desk. And gradually came out. Checked out the kitchen ... Now he's all over downstairs. And FINALLY our other cats are warming up to him. And the kicker is when I got him here, I found out he's totally DEAF. And very senior. So, yeah, those monsters who left YOUR CAT and Grizzy behind deserve all Karma has in store. And MORE!

Such simple but stirring and noble words as they ripped your scalp off and tied it onto the spear they just rammed through your thigh! Noble savages is a good concept.

I love the different Native American cultures that resided in the Americas before the Europeans decided to take over the land. However, let us not forget, many of the cultures were extremely sexist and violent. I wonder if that was true before we put so much pressure on their societies.

Of course it was. A bit ridiculous you think Europeans had anything to do with their culture. Stronger tribes raided weaker long before Europeans came here. It was human behavior all over the world.

I have Native American friends they have lots of wisdom to share and you will learn a lot they taught us how to grow corn when we first got here and showed us how to live out here we picked a bad way of paying them back by basically killing them off in history

I have always had a deep respect for the Native indigenous peoples. Manifest Destiny was not a good thing for way too many were hurt. Just the greedy and industrialists profited. If anyone deserves reparations it is the Native Peoples. The States were created on the lies and bad deeds put upon the Native peoples, the shepherds of their lands. These quotes are hauntingly beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing.

I live by their beliefs have most of my life. I have faith not in man ,I walk my own path. The way of life for we natives is very similar to what the Bible teaches. Natives live closest to the simplicities of the earth and are one with it and our Creator.

Seems the visdom of the American indians has been ignored by most people, especially among those in power, and not only in the US, but across the world. Still, it is not only contemporary people who fail to appreciate and look after this world while also aiming to live in harmony with each other. - The American indians was not always so gentle either. Knowing what is "the right thing to do" has not yet become synonymous with human behaviour, and likely never will.😩 ☆ Stay safe, Niels 💕💖
