I have Komplete Audio 6 MK2 and I am now so happy. It is worth getting KA6 because it come with midi interface and SPDIF on channel 5/6 for your AXE-FX or whatever SPDIF unit you use, and it have 2 headphone outs.

Thanks for the comparison :) Personaly i'd have loved to hear a bit more from both of the Inputs. Maybe recording a Guitar or some singing would have given a better impression of the Inputs Sound :)

For people making a purchase desition, it's probably better to look at a comparison with the 2nd gen 2i2. As it has many updates and better sound than the 1st gen shown in this video. There are even aesthetic changes worth noting too, including those buttons mentioned here. No point comparing with an older model nobody will buy regardless.

Thanks Notrack. Unfortunately audio interfaces can’t get a cue headphone mix only the master output. Wish it could and I even tried with aggregates etc.

@@DAVEDigitalandVinylExpert that means I'll keep my behringer umc404hd, on the front panel it has a button that switches the headphone from primary (1,2) to secondary (3,4) output which is a great feature for digital djs who mix internally

You can split the output. Output 1 for master and monitor 2 for cueing but you obviously lose a side each one.

Hi Pascal, Do you need an interface yet? I like the audio 2 but I also like the scarlett 2i2 mk2/3 and the motu and loads more. I love my sapphire 24 dsp as well. If you let me know what you would like to use it for and a budget i'd happily advise you :-)

Hi Jet Sound card wise it would be ok as for me it all depends on the mics on what drums you use. Tbh it wouldn’t be my go to interface for it but I wouldn’t be against using it either.

Out of the audio 1&2 I personally go with the one that’s in your budget as there is little in them. Out of the NI and Scarlett ... 🤔 at a squeeze the audio 2 for size and the monitor volume knob on top.

Hi D-one. I use mine in Ableton so if I’m using the mic to record at the same time as listening to the music I have the ‘auto’ on then I have it all the way to host and can hear it all great. Does that help?

That is Behringer Uphoria or how its called , the cheapest thing you can get , if you thing somone designed that specificly , i will tell you no , they designed the box, electronics is 30$ worth , like Behringer Uphoria .

The U-Phoria only does up to 16bit/48kHz, the Audio 1 and 2 do 24bit/192kHz. So no, they don't use the same electronics.

Hi, This isn't for Doing as such. It's main purpose is to be able to record audio into your computer e.g. singing into a mic. However you can use it a main sound card for output if you wish. Hope that helps.

@@artemis1747 Audio 2 uses balanced jacks, RCA is always unbalanced. Balanced connections provide additional shielding against electromagnetic interference. Unbalanced is usually fine for short cable runs in a home studio, but if you need long cable runs and have lots of gear in the vicinity, you'll want balanced (either jacks or XLR). Be aware that balanced outputs only make sense if your amps or active monitors have balanced inputs.

Say for instance you have iTunes running on the computer and you have a mic in as well. The mic would be your input and the host would be the computer sound e.g. iTunes. Think of it as a cue/mix on a dj mixer. Hope that helps.

Got mine 2 weeks ago and it wont send any sound to my speaker system. Biggest furstration being Traktor pro 3 is the only damn apo NOT making sound through my speakers no matter what the f*** ive tried. Reaching out for advice/assistance as NI customer support is abysmal even with no pandemic. Waste of my bloody time and money.
