We Czechs are monitoring the developments in South Korea so closely! Context: our government is soon to decide on the biggest award of contract in our history, the construction of up to 4 new nuclear reactors. There are 2 suppliers in the game, the French and the South Korean. It's really crucial that the country we choose isn't weak on Putin and poses no security risk whatsoever to us. The French supplier was until recently regarded as the favourite, but the French electorate's flirtation with unacceptable figures like le Pen and Mélenchon is utterly disturbing.

We can always go nuclear. Only reason we are not is to show respect for US partnership. All Koreans want us to go nuclear. We already have the technology and was 90% completed back in 1970's before US forced us to give up.

Why didn't the US organizers provide simultaneous interpretation through earphones like they do in NATO's Brussels press conferences? The way it's done here - consecutive interpretation - disrupts the natural flow of the speakers.

Well done, South Korea. It's takes a while for South Korea to act like an Asian leader, alongside Japan. Hopefully, in the near future, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and less corrupt countries will form the NEW, Asia Democratic Treaty Organisation - parallel to NATO. Currently, the ASEAN countries and their organisation are too selfish and corrupt. A lot of the countries in the ASEAN are either authoritarian, communist or dictatorship, where human rights are violated or suppressed.
