If NATO can standardize 7,62 mm ammo for guns it must be able to standardize 155 mm ammo for artillery too. This is one of the biggest bottlenecks. Too much weapon production within NATO is still fragmented along national borders. I understand France has a different need for weapon capabilities than Germany, but still. Find a way to streamline this and you have a robust defense capability against mighty foes.
