For all of you who can't find the keyframe button, just right click on the parimiter that you want to set a keyframe for and youll see a set key option.

Ok, only 2 videos, but, they helped me a lot on getting started with those kind of programs. And the best of Natron is that is available for LInux, and also that it's FREE!!!

Sound guy's rant: You voice recording has a lot of high frequencies present, you could use an EQ to take out some of the highs (for example do -3dB with a high-shelve filter on 5 kHz) or use a De-Esser, which will make your sibilants ("s", "t", "p" sounds) quieter, making the voice more pleasing to listen to :). If in doubt - contact me I'll try helping you with your recording setup :)
@chanruzzi7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the tips. I realized that after the upload. Actually the problem is not my recording setup, it's my bad EQ skills at the time. LoL. You can watch my most recent videos to see the difference. Anyways, subscribed to your channel :D

Hi, Nice tutorial. Why do you make your background gradient with 4 nodes (2 const + 1 merge + 1 Radial). A simple radial could be sufficient to provide a gradient adjusting 2 colors, the softness and the size.
@chanruzzi9 жыл бұрын
rc spam Hi, thank you. Yep you're right. But this way I feel like I have more ctrl over the gradient, sometimes I animate individually some of this 4 nodes. But sure it will be good to show an easier way to do this on a next tuto. Thanks for the feedback.

Great tutorial...I especially liked the choice of the topic: very simple to follow, but useful to start messing with the nodes (merge and transform nodes in this case). I have a question: the version that you are using is 2.0; but as far as I know the latest release is 1.2.1 (which I have)....Are you using a beta version, perhaps? Anyway, I've found everything you showed in the video without trouble. Now I'm begging for another tutorial! :D Sorry for my english, I'm italian
@chanruzzi9 жыл бұрын
Russell Teapot Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, it's really useful for me. About the version, I'm using a snapshots version of the software and you can learn all about it (and also downloadit) on this page: natron.inria.fr/snapshots/ Relax I'll keep making this tutos, as soon as I get some time I'll make the next one! :) Don't worry about your English, your doing just fine! :)

+raghavendra m.v What's your merge node's "Operation" setting? In the vid he's got it set to 'over'. Let me know if that doesn't work as I had issues initially because my nodes operation's weren't defaulting when I created them.
@mvraghavendra58 жыл бұрын
i set it to 'over' just as it was explained. I thank you for taking your time for me.

how to animate opacity of an image in Natron? i want an image to fade in and fade out in the bg but i fugured no way to do this
@chanruzzi9 жыл бұрын
DavidstormDS If you have an image(A) on top of a background(B), linked by a "merge" node, you can click on the keyframe button of the "mix" parameter inside the merge properties and set a key for it to be "1" somewhere in the time line and then set another key somewhere else on the timeline with the value "0" . You can also use a "Dissolve" node instead of a "merge" and animate the "Which" parameter the same way. Hope it helps.

HOW IN THE FUCK DID YOU LEARN THIS STUFF?!? NONE of this information is in the so-called "documentation." There is absolutely ZERO information on using the Curve Editor (nor the Dopesheet, for that matter) Are you a Natron developer or something?
