Incase you're wondering the curse of ankselam only activate when the person realizes the true value of life since ankselam is the God of Life and Death, lets just say, he was not pleased to the way of zeref trying to mess with the concept of life and death and thus, zeref was cursed. Zeref realized the value of life when his teacher told him that his brother will never comeback from the dead (i think so) and there it is the curse the more you value life the more death energy it produces or the more it takes life away of living things.

zeref didnt call natsu brother on the tenrou island arc, he never did until this episode, he did act like he knew who natsu was and showed many emotions when he saw natsu on the tenrou island tho so u probably confuse that with him calling him brother

The foreshadowing in Fairy Tail is insane~ A lot of things that get revealed in this season got hinted at in earlier arcs. Which is also interesting considering the manga was originally supposed to end with volume 10, which is the volume that ends with the Tower of Heaven arc. It's funny how much Mashima liked the idea of Natsu not being human so much that he went through with it. In the first volume Mashima states how Natsu was first supposed to be a nature spirit and his design had horns, but he changed him into a human and so had to take his horns away (The horns look similar to the ones Natsu wears at the end of the Edolas arc). It's clear that he kept the idea of Natsu not being human in the back of his head until he incorporated it again with the appearance of Zeref XD Hiro Mashima truly is an amazing writer ^^

No matter what other people may say for me FairyTail's foreshadowing is on par with One Piece's, the whole plot making during the entire serie since the beginning is insane ! At 6:08 he says that Natsu compared to other demons is just chilling without wanting to kill Zeref but, as another foreshadowing, during the Tenrou arc when Natsu first met him he was obsessed with finding Zeref using his corrupted scarf as an excuse but it was more than that obviously, It's even more shown when Zeref cries in front of him and say "Natsu..." out loud such directly triggering Natsu's urge to attack him (punch him here).

There's a conversation between the author Hiro Mashima and the new artist for 100 years sequel..there was a part where they talked about Lucy and Mashima said Lucy is the MC... Yeah even without that information we also can take a guess by our own that Lucy is the MC... but since there are still some people who are persistently arguing that Natsu is the MC..so let me make it simple..both are the MC but Lucy takes an extra points for being the narrator of this story from her perspective, the first character was shown at episode 1... I love Lucy so much, she is one of the best written character (at least for the female) out of all anime of all time...Lucy was kinda self-centred FOR A BIT, always took the simpler ways just for the sake of avoiding and troubles, but her genuine love towards her friends has been there from the very start... As time goes by she slowly gaining improvement not only for her power but also her characteristics... She may still be weak compared to others but she would be strong enough to protect the people she loves even she has to sacrificed things + she's using her weaknesses as her strength and everything she had to their max potential from her brain, her ability,.... By at the end of 100 years quest, she's gonna be one of the strongest character in fairy tail maybe could surpass Erza and the other

It's pretty cool but Mashima has a lot of concept ideas that he fails to execute or is saving up for future works; for example in the sequel and I think it's hinted here that if he had fused all the flames he had before and all the magic he ate, he would've literally been equal to that of Acnologia if not worse, for example in the fight with Zero he described Natsu burning away his magic which is already an insane ability it's up there with Acnologias ability to devour magic energy except Natsu erases it completely, he showed a tiny portion of it in the war that it made a user of the God of time petrified and if he allowed his dragon and demon form to fuse and if he devoured the god slayer magic you would have a demonic dragon god of fire who not only has the seven flames but can basically burn away ethernano. It might even be hinted at that Zeref was responsible for Edolas loss of magic because of what he did and the creation of his demons the world had no choice but to sap the other worlds magic in order to maintain the balance of power within Earthland otherwise it would've destroyed itself from Zeref's antics. There are theories out there as well that it was Zeref who had helped build the foundation of Dragon Slayers it's why Igneel seemed close to him while Irene and Belserion might've been the first to achieve it it is most likely Zeref along with Igneel and the likes of Acnologia who perfected it, which brings credit to the rumors of Zeref creating Acnologia, Igneel's intense disappointment or shame at the existence of Acnologia and his drive to slay him himself and how Igneel was intrusted with END. Although I'm simply getting this from the implications of how Zeref treats and speaks to both Igneel and Acnologia. Once comrades who found a common goal only to end up opposing each other of their vision for the future which is in line with their characters goals.

Well that is not true the recent event Gray & Juvia video he claimed Natsu is the MC for more proof read the crossover the Mashima Heroes Chapter 9 page 4 he had self inserted explaining his own stories *a story about a boy who wield fire magic and the guild he belong to* the only reason Lucy is narrating is because Hiro said Natsu can´t narrate for the readers to gain readers' empathy in magapoke interview it had nothing to do with Lucy being the MC because he never mentioned that he wanted the original series easier to follow from point of view of an outsider , that´s all She´s the 2nd MC
