This wonderful Mendelssohn violin concerto is normally the piece on which violinists bite their teeth out! But this magic, wonderful girl makes it sound like real easy!! This is real magic! However, one must ask, what is going on in this wonderful brain of this little lady and how much further can she progress from here? Will she come to a point, where she cannot get any better before she is an adult? I sincerely hope not! All my best wishes and good luck for a wonderful, happy future! PS. I already have 5 versions of this wonderful concerto on Vinyl and CDs but hope to get, one day soon, a CD, with this piece, recorded with the wonderful Natsuho Murata!

Menuhin Copetitionのジュ二ァの具体的なスケジュールがこの4月7日に発表され ました。実質のFirst Round (4.26-4.27, 22人)が本線の前に予選として行われた後で、 従来通りの日程（5.14-5.23,？人 )の本選が開始となります。Semi-Finals（5.15, a sonata and a virtuos work of their own choice )と Finals(5.21, 5人, 課題曲？)の間隔を 最大に取った日程となりました。レパートリ等まだ不明な点はありますが少なくとも 日程だけは決まりました。

Her classical performances are not classics, but even first-class pops and rocks have a breath that opens up a certain era. she is not aware of it. But her Neutral Age sensibility leads me to a New Turrel interpretation. In particular, the concerto of the exchange of sounds requires and realizes the power of sensibility that strengthens mutual trust. The sensibility of this neutral age is only temporary, and it can be said that it is a miracle performance given by God. As she grows physically and mentally, I expect her to perform in a new growth of herself.

This new generation - not just Natsuho but Leia Zhu, Christian Li, Himari Yoshimura and Teo Getler to name but a few - are setting truly remarkable standards in terms of technique and, especially, musicality. Natsuho's Mendelssohn is excellent, and so too is e.g. Leia's and Teo's. But for fiery yet controlled passion and, where called for, great delicacy and vulnerability, it is Chloe Chua's Mendelssohn that is the benchmark.

The Mendelssohn Concerto played by Natsuho reminds me of the Arthur Grumiaux's performance that I used to hear on LP record when I was a student. この当時まだ10歳です。これだけの演奏を普通にするだけでも体力が必要でしょう。 それが大人顔負けの物凄い演奏をすることにどれだけのエネルギーが必要か。 それだけ小さな身体ごと演奏をしていると言う事です。
