I had 3 large fibroid plus ovarian cysts to both ovaries. I was in severe pain and discomfort. Had several miscarriages. Never wanted to go through the surgical route or artificial hormonal treatment. I started chinese treatment and acupuncture along with some Indian herbal remedies. These were used for about 5 months. Was lucky to have 6 weekly scans from my gynaecologist. With every scan, the fibroid and shrank. Eventually Eventually there was nothing nothing left.I had a biopsy done with tissues taken from the wall of my uterus.Which did not show any thing abnormal. Green tea is good for fibroids, but remember it has tannins which blocks the absorption of iron which most women suffers from iron deficiency with fibroids. If you drink green tea, drink it separately and not with meals, but most importantly, at least 2 hours away from taking your iron.

I am currently on a mission to shrink these wretched fibroids naturally. I am going about this by improving my diet; cutting out the crap like bread, rice and alcohol (which I abused). I have embarked upon a 45 min workout regime that I have put together and my stomach is shrinking before my eyes so I'm hoping those bloody freeloaders attached to my womb are going to shrink away to nothing! I'm on the green tea and I am feasting on pure goodness at meal times. I already feel so good, I can't lie. Another thing I started doing a month ago was nightly castor oil packs (pouring oil in the bellybutton then applying heat) and for some reason this month's period was practically non-existent - I did not even feel it and it only lasted 3 days. This has never happened so it may be the castor oil! I will keep an eye on it and also report back when I've had my surveillance transvaginal scan to check on these MoFo's attached to my womb. I choose to believe they are withering away!!! I promise I will give feedback and provide the measurements from the scan etc

I watched many videos and they give similar advice. Cruciferous vegetables, other greens and fruit. Avoid sugar, dairy, too much red meat and alcohol. Also too much wheat although buckwheat and more natural grains are better. Cut out processed food. Also exercise!

Green tea can be so balancing to hormones in general; I also find calming down estrogen dominance, if it coexists with the fibroids, with DIM and Calcium D Glucarate or even Rosemary Extract can be very helpful. I agree that diet changes can be very supportive- avoiding xenoestrogens in the diet and lifestyle can be very helpful too. As far as big studies- I think it can be hard to do these with many natural interventions as natural therapies work differently and often need to be part of a multifacted or layered and individualized plan, very different from how they conduct big pharmaceutical studies, not as standardized. Thank you for the information. This is also helpful: You don’t have to do anything drastic. Wild yam is probably the most important fastest way to dissolve them. Look up a woman’s story how wild yam dissolved her soft ball size fibroid in just 4 months! Also here take taurine, Serrapeptaise, nattokinaise. Those are the top ones that work very fast and literally they attack and destroy fibroids fast. Here are more that have Benita and destroy them also reducing inflammation but you don’t have to take it if you’re taking those top 4, I am because I want to rid them faster and support my body in as many ways as I can: turmeric, quercitine, bromalain, milk thistle, iodine, selenium, magnesium. Also look up a video how to make bromalain from pineapple skin. Diet is important but those supplements will be the most powerful. Diet, most important to remember is that sugar and insulin feed the fibroids so you want to reduce or eliminate as much as you can. The more keto you go the better. Grass fed or organic meat, fish, shrimp, oysters, some eggs, reduce your dairy if you can, but a small amount of dairy is okay, butter, extra virgins olive oil and lots of coconut oil. Collagen to strengthen uterus and fight inflammation. You can do things like chia seeds for omega 3 and fiber, it will help make you feel satiated when doing this low carb diet, also consider avocado a few times per week. You can add vegetables to your diet too like broccoli, sprouts, tomatoes, mushrooms, black garlic, fresh garlic etc. and moringa green juices, mushroom blends and bee pollen to make sure you get all of your b vitamins and important antioxidants. If you don’t like meat or prefer a more vegetarian diet. Stick to crucified veggies, mushrooms, onions, fresh greens spinach and add things I mentioned above like the chia seeds, olive oil, extra virgin coconut oil, coconut milk, super mushroom blend, etc. The above supplements and diet will get rid of it very fast. Some natural options can help with a little symptom control - like bleeding or pain. But not all women experience this. I don't know if I prefer natural or alternative therapies. I'd try anything. I've had fibroids for over 15 years. I have 3 the size of grapefruits which might not seem big, but I've never weighed more than 7 stone. They're ruined my life. I can't have a relationship because physical relations are impossible without enough pain to make me pass out. I have to dose up on laxatives so I can go to the toilet past the fibroids, I'm in constant agony & when I come on a period it runs out of me like a tap and lasts for weeks. In the UK the NHS offers nothing apart from the laxatives for the past 10 years when it got too difficult to go to the loo. They keep reassuring me I'm not affected when in reality I'm affected more by these fibroids than I am by my autism, dyspraxia, Irlens sydrome & CPTSD all rolled into one. I'd quite happily let someone shoot me at this point. I have no joy left in my life, just constant pain & bitter loneliness as I'm trapped here out of sight suffering.

Carmen, we don't think they do much: they may be helpful for mild symptoms, but calcified fibroids are older fibroids that grow harder as they age - hormone drugs and surgery are the current recommended treatments.
