Kids should not wear makeup !!! And this is why beauty vloggers are bad influencers! You should decide on your own WHEN or WHETHER to wear makeup not to be dragged into it by some stranger on the internet making money out of your naivete...
@rebeccagabrielle24302 жыл бұрын
@@Verbsdescribeus I didn’t wear Makeup as a kid, nor did I ever felt I needed to. I just liked how beautiful and creative it was and how it literally transformed her face. It was fascinating. I was much older when I started wearing makeup but the love Michelle had built for it had inspired me even then. No kids should not wear makeup, but inspiring their creativity isn’t wrong. Seeing what it can do isn’t wrong. I wasn’t dragged into anything. Also: It is not an influencers job to make sure they KIDS are exposed to appropriate content. It’s the parents’ job & THEY need to make sure that their child isn’t dragged into anything. That being said: Children see their mothers put on Make-up far earlier than influencers doing this. Is that damaging as well? Michelle never made it out to be that you have to wear makeup or change your face to be pretty - she only ever showed creativity & how imaginative makeup can be. Take your toxicity elsewhere.

I started Moisture routines in my 20s (nothing major, just some body butter and cream on my face after a shower, and some sunscreen before I go out on a sunny day) and the older I get the more thankful I am that I did that, and the more "help" (ie care) I give my skin. Also I like that you're not into a full face of foundation. . . Michelle, you're so right about how our features change over the years so the colors, and textures we use to accentuate our features matter just as much as the placement and amount of coverage. I also used to wear full coverage, matte foundation and powder to completely resculpt my face 10 years ago. Now I only want to use a tinted moisturizer consistency with the smallest amount of concealer, just where the extra coverage is needed. I'm ok with a little bit of my sunspots and acne scars showing through. My go to eyeshadows and liners have been shades of brown, taupe, peach, rather than the darker grays before. I've learned to embrace my unique features and "imperfect"/"troubled" skin over the past few years. This video was great and your voice is wonderful and soothing as always. Thank you for this!

I just came to your channel to check if they were news and just found you were uploading videos again. I'm glad you're back, I literally learn how to make up with you! I've seen you have a lot of new videos (new for me, I mean) but I just wanted to tell you that.

Hey Michelle, could you do your mom's makeup on here? Would be great to see mature skin with your makeup

I’ve used prescription grade eye drops that sting for minutes so yeah I’ll give these a try haha. Also you can taste eye drops bc your tear ducts drain into your nose and then your throat 👍🏼

Love those flashbacks!! :) I'll never forget when in a time where everyone was caking up their makeup you said in one of your vids to not put foundation all over the face, but rather place it where needed and blend to get a much more natural look. This tip stayed with me throughout the years 🙂

This is the first time I've ever watched a video from you, and I noticed the natural background right away. It's lovely.

Omw YES 🙌 I just turned 30 and my skin is different now, and even my eyes are a bit different, and I'm finding I cant do my makeup like I used to. I love this more elegant, subtle look - it is so incredibly beautiful 😍❤ thank you for making this tutorial exist 😎🙌
