Hi there, thank you for your video and sharing. It's really good to find a way to use henna as hair dye with darker tone / brown version. I am still wondering is it possible still to get this mix work out kind of chestnut like or copper tone warm brown? Does the indigo powder make it all completely dark brown colour or would it still have the reddish tone of the henna show up?

Is it just your particular powder that cannot be left mixed overnight? I am sad that I found your channel *after* ordering henna from another company. It says to mix the henna and leave for 8-10 hours. I will deff get yours next time....and that Goddess Hask!!! Should I follow the directions they gave me... or do what you said and only let this mix sit for 3-4hours.

Jagua powder? Oh wow really? Where did you see the jagua powder for sale? I would presume you can use it to color your hair but I've never tested it. You might have to ask the place selling the jagua powder how to use it. Sorry. - Khadija

If I wanted to add cassia to my henna would the cassia be added to the henna and sit for the 3 and 4 hours as well. Or to the indigo mixture

Tracy usually for a recipe with indigo you won’t need to use cassia as that might dilute the henna too much. Was there a reason you wanted to add cassia?

HennaSooq For my daughter she has medium brown and some light brown hair and does not want it to darken any more. She loves red tones but not darker red. So I was going to mix henna and cassia for her but I’m not sure if cassia needs to sit or it doesn’t matter. I wouldn’t use indigo for her. Thank you again.

Usually just add it to the powder part of the recipe and it's about 5% of the whole amount of powder you're using. So for example for 100grams of henna or indigo or whichever powder you use, it's 1 tsp of aloe vera powder.

@hennasooq luv your vids, been following and buying from you for years now😊 have a question I got some henna already mixed with indigo because I want a brown shade. Now I know with indigo you should not freeze the mixture but I could not use it right away like I planned to so I put it in the freezer anyway. I know the indigo in the henna is no longer good but do u think if I mix some indigo up and apply it in the mix that I plan on defrosting I will still be able to get decent results. I ‘m just trying to color a few gray hairs. I read somewhere you can do that but I wanted to ask you since you are the expert.

CallMeSupreme yes this is true. It must be blonde already or light tones or have grey hairs. Cassia doesn’t deposit onto dark hair in order to lighten it as it’s not a chemical that can strip out your natural hair color. Sorry!

Yes absolutely but only a small amount. About 1 tsp per 100 grams of indigo.

The first time when I was dyeing my hair with henna was 70g Henna 30g indigo and amla powder (the instructions was from seller). The result - chestnut colour. The second time I did like in this video 50g henna 50g indigo and 1tbs of amla. Was 2 hours on my hair. The result the same... I don't want so many orange tones. I want dark brown or lighter colour but not ginger in the sun. Can you help me please?
