Beautiful & inspiring...thank you PW. I am celebrating 9 months with Sisterlocks and am a little concerned that I have lost about 9 locks to date....I thought maybe too frequent bantu knots & stopped however 3 dropped off after my 7th retightening & then one again today...I am concerned and would greatly appreciate your thoughts/suggestions Best wished for 2017

Angela Sanchez I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your locs. I've never lost a loc but I know I would be disturbed if I did since I feel my hair and spirituality is connected in some way. Are you at peace with life right now or stressed? This will have a major impact on your wellbeing so please address any issues that may affect your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual self first. The outside appearance is a reflection of what's going on inside. With that said, do you keep your scalp moisturized? Is it dry? Massage your scalp with a light oil to stimulate re growth and drink plenty of water...64+ ounces a day. And try not to worry about the past. Look forward and nurture your locs like you would a baby. My apologies for the delayed response...I have been so focused on another project that has taken me away from my KZbin channel. Peace and blessings to you Angel.

NatureCoilsbyPW Thank you for responding & your recommendations...I'm working on it .....but lost a loved one & retired so I expect this contributed....the locs were from the back edge....you know the very fine & easily stressed area...anyway no more losses so continuing with moisturising & masaging regularly Best regards
