Sir nokri har koi nhi chhor sakta. it is part of eco system of human survival. people have to work for other peoples. even self employeed people are nokar of their clients. Nokri chhorna solution nahi. employers ka wrong behavior bardashts karna aur us ka ghulam hojana that is the problem. We should collectively give the msg to all businesses that we will work only that much we are paid for. We should not allow others to drain ourselves for their benefits. In Pakistan there are many self employed people running small industries, but their condition is miserable. the broker who purchase thier product and sale it to market takes all the juice. Same is happening all over. Nokri is not issue, become mentally slave of others is the real issue.

Bro am also about to finish a PhD, its is even more stressful than a job, unless one wants academic spots, which are very less percentages of positions available for PhD, its not the best choice for long term. I myself am planning to get into Business utilizing skills I learnt from PhD. Although, what I did in PhD can not be used by myself as such, as it is owned by EU funding council, and the institutes which mentor the project. Ps - My PhD is related to Translational Biomedicine, with EU funding, which is amongst the best in the world, yet am saying this.

When you work in corporate job, you have to bow to corporate dictates. What I am suggesting is develop some systems before you go on your own. There are no leaves in your own practice. What is taken for granted in a govt. job is not same in your own set-up.
