Naturally I must say this entire video is one large sarcastic exaggeration, but LEGO better pay attention nonetheless. They screwed up. Remember, I'm an idiot with a mic, not an expert, so take my video with a grain of salt. Stay tuned.

Merry Christmas! (Yeah, I said Christmas, go ahead and cancel me) Most of this video is an exaggeration, please don't take it seriously. And yes, I know Titanic's central propeller was probably 3 bladed, but I know for a

In defense of some of these criticisms, Lego doesn't or very rarely makes new parts, so they work with the current backlog of Lego parts to make the best thing they can. In a way, it's what makes Lego so popular because of its self-imposed handicap.

In Lego's defense, inaccuracies are nothing new to their sets. Some sets in licensed themes like Star Wars and Marvel are notoriously inaccurate. Plus, there's only so much the designers could do with the model to make it as accurate as it could be while resorting to as few new molds as possible. At least, as you said in this video, these inaccuracies can be fixed for the most part with some rebuilding.

Meh I get what you are saying but this is a lego kit. I think the level of detail is great for a lego kit. If you want something to be 100 percent historically accurate then there are other models you can get. When it comes to lego I think they did the great job with this. The whole point of this model is to show a basic overview of the Titanic in lego and in that aspect I think its great! You really do get a idea of the scale of the ship, and you get a general idea of what the ship looked like. Plus just the fact that the ship splits apart and you can see inside it is super cool! (Didnt bother me at all that it wasnt 100 percent accurate. Its lego you have to expect that). When you buy this kit dont go into it expecting a 100 percent perfect recreation of Titanic. Go into it as a very cool lego piece that does a fairly decent job of showcasing the Titanic with the limited means of lego bricks. I am a Titanic youtuber and I can tell you I love having this as a set piece!

Ok so clearly this bloke has no experience with LEGO. You forget the most important thing, it’s LEGO! That means nothing is gonna be %100 accurate other wise the set would be even more expensive because they would need to make new brick molds and more prints which add to the price tag. Ask any LEGO expert most large sets like those ARE NOT entirely accurate

This is made out of Lego bricks, they have a limited number of pieces to work with in a limited number of colors. The very nature of this product is going to cause some things to be in-accururate colors and just throw off scale in general. I'm not saying that Lego could not have possibly done a better job, I am saying that if you want the Lego building experience, you will have to sacrifice some accuracy to the finished model.

Personally, even if you are exaggerating, you might be being too nitpicky and harsh on this set. Like, it's Lego. It's not a brass display model, it never claimed to be. Is the price ridiculous? Yes! But I still don't think it's worth it being this nitpicky over things like the crane scale or the roof colors or the pool. (I can kinda get the clock though that's kinda weird)

The middle propeller was a three bladed design, so the model is accurate.

The titanic model is huge as it is. To get the absolute accuracy you want you either need to increase scale (which makes the price go up exponentially) or don’t buy lego. Lego isn’t meant to be precise it’s meant to mimic in a very specific style. That’s the whole point. Now here’s the great thing. Minor inconsistencies which bug you can easily be remedied by just moving the parts around, you have complete control if something isn’t to your liking. Even things like the flags could be made by just printing them out and cutting to size.

In all fairness as a fellow Titanic Buff, Its made out of lego's which by their nature limit what can be done with the set. Could it be better...YES...ANYTHING CAN BE BETTER... The question is...will they do it and keep it at a reasonable size and price. You could do a damn close accurate Titanic lego with all the preportions correct and everything, if you got unlimted resources. Most people dont.

As a Titanic nerd and a much larger Lego nerd. Scaling has always been an issue in lego sets that try to incorporate a lot of little details (the paddle shifters in the technic Lamborghini for example) and if you made a crane in the proper scale, it would be to fragile, the trick of adding the details inside the ship is an amazing touch that you don't see on regular model kits
