Not so sure. Boaty McBoatFace was a tongue-in-cheek suggestion for a British polar exploration vessel that appealed to the public’s sense of the ridiculous. In the end, the vessel was named something eminently more appropriate (If you don’t know, look her up as she’s a fine vessel). Not entirely humourless, Boaty… became the name of an ROV. So Yatchy Mc… would have been both derivative and refer to an undersea vessel, which would have been entirely inappropriate and a slur on Bering’s admirable and obvious skills. Meanwhile, our videographers chose an excellent name for themselves. Bless her and all who sail in her.

I haven't been able to follow every episode but i've seen most and love the excitement and anticipation. I'm a 73yr old Dutchman living in the Rockies in Canada because my wife hates boats but I grew up among those floating things and kind of miss them..... a lot sometimes.....! so live my dream will ya.
