Agreed. WITH sea trials! I'd really like to see this guy heeling to the wind. I adore the view from a flybridge, but sailing vessels are so much more visceral an experience to put on the water than even the sportiest sport yacht.

Beautiful yacht. But I tell you this. You could give me the yacht and I still wouldn’t be climbing up that 50 metre mast . And I agree about the shower lighting. When you have no natural light due to the nature of the boat, having something that simulates it helps you forget you are in an enclosed space. Love that master. Should you need to get away there are no worries about fuel, and you can sail across the seas to your hearts content. My cousin's in West Virginia cut and process wood that they sell to boutique furniture makers and wood mills that yachts get their wood from. In order to get a yacht level of wood, you can have no knots. Slight blemishes are OK. You must have a splitting length of over 18' (so when they put a splitting blade to the log, that log must be able to split 18' with no splitting or deviation. Has totally straight and then it is sanded to a 600 grit finish. This is known as satin finish logs.) Oak, cherry, walnut, cedar, and black walnut are premium and they also want whole logs. Then they soak them, dry them out completely in a kiln, soak them again for a week and put them on a machine that is like a giant razor blade and processes the logs into sheets that is used for wood paneling in yachts and high end motor homes.

Academic keeling design is lateral resistance for the sails that is relative to the sail area and ahead of the center of effort of the sails. So the stem of the hull is the deepest point of the boats and the stern is the shallowest of the boat. This is the keel line stem to stern and assures rudder control in high wind and sail power.
