BTW Your footage of the place is outstanding, I've always wanted to do what you're doing, I've never been to Powell in the Winter. It would be cool to spend a year on the Lake.

I'd say a great place this time of year, a real zoo during peak season? Like Mokie Canyon up North, like KOA camping. Maybe I'm wrong?

It can get quite busy. I tend to do other things during the peak season. There's just too many large wakes from surf boats unless you go really far out.

@@ExploreWithThor San Juan was a favorite place for water skiing but finding a sheltered cove during wind events can be a challenge. The crowds really thin out up there.

Hey Thor! Hows the weather been out there? Im in California and we've had more rain than ive ever seen in the past 10-15 years. I hope this rain is headed towards the mountains and eventually lake powell! Take care.

Lots of rain the last two weeks, & it does help. Most of it is getting past us tho & going up into colorado where it needs to go. Looking better this year than last, & last year was looking better than the year before.
