This is not a Navajo Rain Dance. 🤦🏽 This is a Plains People Jingle Dance(healing dance), also, this is a Pow-Wow dance style. Not of the Navajo People.

It doesn't look very strictly choreographed. It kinda looks like she was just doing whatever she wanted. I was under the impression that these dances had special powers, and I was under the assumption that these dances had to be very strict and executed perfectly for the dance's "power" to be released. But honestly, I don't know ANYTHING about Native American dances, culture, tradition, ECT... So, I admit that I can be completely wrong. I'd love to hear what someone educated in this topic has to say. Thanks.
