You are probably already aware of the rule for "Ready Ammo Explodes!". In any case, it does 5 points of hull damage, in addition to destroying a secondary battery turret, in the arc facing the enemy ship. In this sense, Achilles would have survived, provided it could control the fire, during the end phase (e.g., not getting another "Ready Ammo Explodes!" or "Fire Spreads!" results). That was a very informative video! It helped me to get a deeper understanding of the basic rules. Thanks for sharing!

I was going to ask if there was a Denmark Strait scenario and you gave the answer right at the end. The solo friendly nature of this set was the clincher- I'm definitely picking these up and I'll probably go with Shapeways 1/2400 ships. Compared to figure gaming, you can get into this really quickly and cheaply. Thanks again mate!

I didn’t have knowledge of these rules. Looks interesting. Again I appreciate the amount of effort you have put in it to make this video.

I haven't tried them myself, but I hear they are also really good.

I enjoyed this a lot. Thank you. When the vid first came on I thought you had covered the table in a jigsaw puzzle painted black. I am glad you explained it. It looked good for this video and doesn't distract. I have heard the ocean color comparison before, but I never understood the lant vs pac ocean color remarks. I have been all over the pac, Indian, Arctic and Persian and they can all show you a full range based on time of day/weather. Or maybe I wasn't looking hard enough to see the overall pattern.🤔

Being a land lubber, I wouldn't know even if you put me in front of them :) I hope to get rid of the big fold in the fabric and maybe put some whitecaps on it, make it more watery. We'll see, I'm not very crafty either...

I bought the rules and realized I'll need someone smarter than me to teach me how to play.

Finally got to finish this video, I can see your point with both NT and GQ3 having a different appeal - so will probably get both. I really like the detailes stats and rolling "per gun" on NT, not really a big fan of damage tracking - might be a bit tiring on larger battles with so many minor hits. Overall looks like a good system to graduate to😁

Too light for the Pacific, which would be more of a richer, vivid blue. The South Atlantic would look good depicted as a slate grey. Obviously all sea colour is dependent on the prevailing weather conditions. Cheers- I'm tempted by this game.

I may look into some actual play mats for each theater. But that can be costly, but I think in the long run worth the price to get good looking water.
