This is one of the best performances I have ever seen in my entire life. (Yes, I know Tony Royster Jr., Mike Mangini and all the Berklee and Gospel Chops guys) The thing is, not even in micro timing I couldn't find any mistakes, except for one hit. This whole thing is incredibly tight and I must not forget to mention the improvisations, the vivid dynamics, and that this is one take. One Take!

entheosOFFICIAL how loud is the 18 kick behind the kit/in the room? is it on a mount? I have never considered straying from 22s since I had 20s that really struggled volume wise. It was probably specific to that drum make but i just stuck with what I know

sick playthrough. how are the oak sticks compared to hickory? I use 2b's as well but wondering what the differences might be. Major props to doing live takes of songs as challenging as these. It's honestly good to see a minor mistake at 3:26 to know that you're human. I'm tired of all these perfect covers and playthroughs that are so obviously tons of small takes.
