Some of FL Studio's stock synths are the hardest synths I have ever tried to figure out. I find serum and vital make a lot more sense.

Super helpful! Haven't dove into the modulation of my synths yet. When watching videos on how to make certain sounds they always move so fast and don't explain what they are doing when dragging LFO's or filters onto something. Knowing how a synth works really help. I often switch off one or two sounds in Omnisphere to make the sound less complex and more usable or layer sounds to make a preset that's more interesting. I play around with modulation now and then.
