What do you find you struggle with when coming up with kick patterns?
@atkat_makabre19 күн бұрын
@@NavieDthough I wasn't the person who initially asked for one, I would appreciate a kick pattern video as well. I don't struggle necessarily, but I would say my kicks tend to be fairly basic; perhaps overly formulaic. Your concise way of laying things out has also been incredibly helpful just in terms of workflow. I've found that learning things from you like keyboard shortcuts, or how to best utilize various plugins/features I either don't understand how to use or I thought I did and was wrong (lol) is just as useful as the actual techniques you're teaching. You're also just...like...a style expert? You know what to recommend to keep with a certain aesthetic, like you demonstrated in this video. Personally I would benefit from a video like this for each individual percussion component. Melodies/harmonies/bass lines too, but I think you might have some or all of those already; I've only scratched the surface of what your channel has to offer so far.
