I have a 31" nilight light bar from amazon on my 2018 polaris sportsman 850sp, it is the first light bar I have ever had. I only have about 2 hours of actual use with it so far, but I could not be happier with it! It's only a little over $50, plus a couple bucks for a switch/harness.

I’ve purchased several $1800+ blackout Rigid light bars with Spectre glass that I had custom mounted in the front grille of various Ford Superduty’s. They are worth the money when you compare quality of light spread, brightness, clarity, housing, wiring harness. My dealer put Tigerlights on a Fendt tractor I bought and they were so cheaply made they were all waterlogged inside the first year, I replaced them all with Rigid and you can quickly understand why Rigid is more expensive in almost every possible aspect.

Ive bought expensive and ive bought cheap. The pricey ones are built way better in terms of durability and rigidity. Cheap light bars are just as bright IMO if not brighter lol, but they are built pretty cheaply. I also had some issues with a couple led's flickering and half the bar not working sometimes with my 30 dollar bar. Honestly prefer to run the cheap ones as they last long for the money!

I have an 03 Polaris magnum I replaced the stock headlights with 4 inch bipods from harbor freight and a 15 inch light bar and they have a awesome light wiring kit.

Really? Good to know. I honestly would have thought lights from harbor freight would get condensation in them the first couple times of getting wet. Thanks for the input!

@@NavigateOffroad that's one major thing I worried about, but as of right now I've road it about 8 weekends in a row and they have held up. I use dielectric grease on all my plugs electrical connections.

I got the light bar for my raptor at Walmart LOL! Had it in water and mud and it works great! As of now lol! I think you pretty much get what you pay for. I’m not even sure how much life mine has but it worked great this weekend.

The Baja Lightbar in the Can-am catilog is 2k. Crazy, eh. Love my RJWC Neautrinos. There clean looking and as bright lightbar. Not cheap though. Around 7 bills. Good vid man.

Nice video dude. I have a nilight on my quad and truck. Weird thing is my truck actually got a little condensation and my quad didn’t. Overall I am very happy with the quality for the cost.

I never brought a light bar . 90% of the time I ride in the daytime I'll note this where to buy one
@NavigateOffroad5 жыл бұрын
Yea might be a waste of money for you then. If you do find you might be riding at night in the future though, I do recommend getting one at that point. They are a game changer for night riding.

I think light bars are a great upgrade over factory headlights all day long. AND...AND...they really are pretty cost effective compared to replacing headlights with led lights. We probably only night ride two or three times a year but when we do having the ability to see more than thirty or forty yards down the trail is huge.

I don't know a lot about Light bars, and the wiring. However looking at the mentioned LED light bar... the Nilight 18024C-A 420W 20Inch Triple Row Flood Spot Combo 42000LM, the product technical details shows 160 Watts so I'm guessing the also mentioned FLYPIG 12V 16A light switch not really compatible since the light switch wire is rated 120W (maxed). After had watched this video I actually ordered that bar and also the FLYPIG 12V 16A light switch, not arrived yet but It looks like I was little quick to buy that light switch. Little something else, might help people looking for the right light bar. I think that particular light bar shouldn't be used by the auxiliary DC 12v Plug, It'll burn the 10amp fuse as it requires 13.3amps (160watts / 12volts = 13.3amp) to use. Also FLYPIG 12V 16A light switch might not be right if you looking to have light work with the key switch. Not an expert but I'm sure someone here knows something about this will confirm that or otherwise.

That 20" bar is 110% not 420 watts. The super nice rigid or baja 50" bars are 400+ watts. It's videos like these that mislead buyers. The wattage pull is hypothetical because I guarantee no 20" is pulling this wattage for $50.

I'm sorry, there's NO WAY a $50 light bar puts out 10,000 lumens. The lens, the drivers on the circuit board, the heat sinks would all cost more than $50 each just in parts. Baja Designs is obviously a race oriented product (hence the $350-$1000 price tag), but $200-$300 for a 10''' light bar is about what you'd expect for a quality, long lasting product.
