Hope you have stayed safe and continue to do so during hurricane season. Your videography continues to impress me, for example, placing the mask and snorkel on the sand and the camera behind it to video you two from the distance. Sail On!

Ah thanks Michael that's really kind. Haha not sure that was a pre-meditated shot but happy with how it turned out

I thought you had the sunscreen. No I thought you had it. Never mind I'll swim back to the boat and get it. How great is that. Some beautiful anchorages and stunning water. We're not used to seeing our food harvested and killed right in front of us. I know that was yummy though. Stay safe.

That was exactly the conversation! Yeah true, it's not the same when you're so close to where your food has come from, gives you a real appreciation for it

If there was a happiness meter installed I think yours would be up about 17 per cent since crossing. What does she draw and don't you have a measurement of heel angle? Thanks for sharing. I was so shaken when my most loving, caring Grampa "cleaned" the fish from my first fishing trip with such alacrity and the poor fish looking up helplessly, but oh they tasted so good.

I would have been terrified of sharks swimming to the boat

What do you guys do when you both get sea sick? I still enjoy your videos. You know that’s probably the best way to cook lobsters!
@chrisyarnold62052 жыл бұрын
Might be tough to do, but I recently heard that if you eat raw ginger you won't get seasick.
@NavikaSailing2 жыл бұрын
Yeah ginger helps lots!
@NavikaSailing2 жыл бұрын
Often make a ginger tea before leaving on a passage, and take regular seasickness tablets you can get from the pharmacy which we take before leaving on a sail!

Turtles and seals eat live lobster. Part of the food chain. Personally, I would have put them on ice first.
@gardenofedenfruit2 жыл бұрын
@@svtinker Are you a turtle or a seal? Humans have many choices of sustenance where they do not need to kill living sentient beings for 5 minutes of taste pleasure. We are frugivores by design and not carnivores. Peace, love and fruit!

@@gardenofedenfruit Nope! We evolved eating protein, fat, and cholesterol. Fad diets are not healthy.

@@svtinker Ok, when you have done some research let me know and then we can discuss it, till then have a nice day,

@@gardenofedenfruit the first humans were hunters, red meat eaters, O blood type. B type blood were herders of the steppe, they ate wild game. Type A next, they ate more veggies unless they lived in the northern hemisphere during the ice age. AB is next, more veggies like A, Indian sub continent majority A and AB blood types. The Genotype diet is based on science and takes evolution into consideration. Fad diets are emotionally based.
