@@jayyy9364 anywhere the special forces are today in the world they need temporary or foward bases. 13 man cat teams deploy with them. Anywhere the Marines deploys anywhere the Army deploys who do you think builds everything for the military? My case Beirut Lebanon 🇱🇧 in 1983. We just rosting marshmallows and singing campfire songs as built the entire Marine base under fire everyday. I also was deployed to army 82nd airborn unit to build a remote base for them. Go Google there deployments. We fight with all the forces when shit hits the fan. Build anything from bunkers airfields hospitals defences bridges tunnels docks for naval vessels you name it we do it. Trained by the Marines to fight. Also have every trade EA EO UT SW CM BU CE look up the trades everyone is an expert in the field i.e. EO stands for equipment operators. We get trained on range to shoot and go on FEX which is war games were we get attacked by hostile forces and we need to hold the base or help Marines or whoever were with to fight and kill our enemies. We are in combat all the time you just don't know it . If it was a road that was built for the Marines or whoever you bank on it SEABEES built it. Maybe under fire and fought back to keep it. We also have 2 battalions of underwater divers that build things for the Navy also. We go all over the world. Not bragging look it up the SEABEES have been in more theaters of war than any other unit in the Navy. Some of the places we go are quite when with operators for good reasons. There happy to have us another weapon if shit hits the fan and build them anything they want. If your a young man go think about joining them it's a great career move. I'm out 40 years now so I can't tell you were there at now. They always on deployment maybe Guam building things or home port. We have 2 base one in Mississippi and one in California. Also get attached to naval air stations and the fleet depending on the Navy or Marines needs in home port. Amphibious SEABEES have home port in VA CA. Hope you have a good understanding of what a never talked about unit with great pride and respect do as military engineers go. Other engineers more demolition the SEABEES do that also more for building things all over the world.

@@jayyy9364 jayyy I know you were not my friend it's a great unit and you get a real trade if you decide to get out a real world job. Talk to a recruiter there giving 25k or 50k sign on bonus now depending on branch and trade. God bless you whatever decision you make all the services are great. Good luck my friend

​@@jayyy9364yeah but you'll never make rank unless we go to war. Seabees and Corpsman are those ratings with crappy ranking up. In fact they're slowly phasing Seabees out because private contractors are used to build stuff these days.
