Here is the list for the girlies that needs to check everything they did wrong: -Not prepoing or oiling your hair before shower -Not detangling your hair before washing -Not properly wetting your hair -Using hot water to wash hair -Using too much shampoo -Being aggresive with fingers, and rubbing your hair -Shampooing your hair quickly -Squeezing your hair after shampoo -Rinsing out the conditioner instantly -Using regular towels -Not oiling your hair after washing it -Using heat to dry hair immediately

Thank you for the reminder. I shredded lots of hair today during my wash care routine. You mentioned key points that I will reconsider. Avoid hot water but use luke warm, detangling hair and oiling it prior shampoo. Use cold water to rinse out conditioner. When it is winter months is it ok to use luke warm water to rinse out conditioner?
@Nayanzeka2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely

Rinsing with cold water closes the cuticle ... that has the remain open so that your hair can except the leave in conditioner.... then seal with an oil. I do the LCO method

Yea me too. I only detangle with a comb and brush when I take down extensive hair braids or twist due to the buildup. Finger detangling only doesn't get rid of all that buildup so I go in with a wide tooth comb then either the denman brush or my Felicia Leatherwood brush, as a prepoo. Then as I shampoo I finger detangle a little more then as I condition I finger detangle more so once that's all rinsed out I dont have to use a comb or brush. I noticed that my hair got a little fuller within a year, not super thick as I've never had thick hair

Thanks for the video. The only people that should not put conditioner on their scalp… Are people with oily scalp. Folks with dry scalp can put all the conditioner they want in their hair, and their scalp. It’s good for us!
@Nayanzeka2 жыл бұрын
Definitely

Conditioner is not made for the scalp it will block the follicle and prevent hair growth over time. You can ask any dermatologist or trichologist.
@youtubeisgodsblessing2 жыл бұрын
@@soundreign2319 That just goes to show that the professionals do not know everything. I cut all of my hair off in 2016; I had 6 inches in the front and a buzz cut in the back. Conditioner on my scalp helped me grow my hair past bra strap length. For women of color that have dry scalp… conditioner is very good for our scalp and hair.

That tip about squeezing the water out my hair I didnt know about. Thanks for the tip. I love using a tip bottle as I end up using less shampoo and I still get alot of subs. Shampooing, I like to hold the ends and put my fingers in my hair to rub on the roots lightly.

Okay, when the shower head is right over your own head like that, how do you shower and not get your hair wet? I never understood the idea of that type of shower. I don't wash my hair every day, so I'm guessing showering would be tricky and miserable, playing sightings with the water.

i always apply conditioner to my scalp and there have been no side effects whatsoever. Why is it bad to add conditioner to the scalp?
@Nayanzeka2 жыл бұрын
Not saying it bad, It make the roots oilier than they naturally are. It's your hair that needs the most hydration and that’s why it’s best to condition from the mid until the ends of your hair.
