one of the sickest awesome idea to incorporate a didgeridoo in the band's arrangement... and their music is just SO fuckin' good... they prove that GOOD FUCKING HIGH QUALITY MUSIC and dancability can go well together; they're just the only one's seriously trying to put both elements together...

This is a cover of a Roy Ayres track, highly recommend him to all jamiro fans. The roots ❤

funkier than a 70's disco with rollerskates and a spliff on crystallised rizlas. DAMN HOT SHIT!

Yes, going to their gigs or using them as a huge influence (which is what I do) shows the true support in music.

You know, before I listened to this, all I knew about Jamiroquai was a brief mention in GameInformer about their mascot's similarity to the kid from Ico. I am pleasantly surprised.

it's too bad that many people use this "buying a record does not support the musician" thing as an excuse for not buying anything and just downloading everything for free.

This is a recording from an MTV live Session ca 1996.

@vinagree9 Quien sabe si esta tema es del album Traveling Without Moving. Talvez escogio subir esta foto porque assumio era de TWM. De todos modos...cada pais recibe una version differente del album. No lo entiendo. Si. Nos jodieron.

i dont have any theory.. truly we all know so much bands thanks to labels... but you should know how it works with them. Theyre never be the ones losing money. And you (the artist) have to pay back EVERYTHING to the labels. So just think they are robin hood
@VisualDemonAr13 жыл бұрын
@ChurroGreen And supporting the labels is supporting the musicians.

Untrue. They were with Sony for 10 years and had problems with them actually. Which is why they didn't release much stuff for the past few years. Most of it being compilations (choices by Jay Kay), remixes and best-ofs. They did however break free of Sony a few months back, and they say we should expect good stuff at some point.

buy a song or a record is not always supporting the musicians. Is supporting the labels.

@ChainsawGutsFuck Thats true but all I said was that labels are great machinery to keep the business running,and they wont work if they dont get paid,and if the business aint running there is no concerts etc.,so indirectly that gives more money to artists even tho directly it doesn't.
@funkchurro13 жыл бұрын
@JairUtube not really... if i wanna support jamiroquai, i prefer paypal them or something, go to see them alive. Have you ever recorded your own cd with a label??? i have, but only independent. If you record with a label they dont give you anything... they only lend you money and then they what is theirs and more. It's like a bank. Do you know what percentage from each record sold goes to the artist??? Stop dreaming my friend. Keep your eyes open

@ChurroGreen perhaps but then those artists get dropped from majors and lose big funding for better records and marketing

there is a significant similarity between this song and "Funktion" perhaps this was an early version of that song.
