I was a 7 year old Bucks fan in Akron, Oh lol.....Since it was a Friday night, I was permitted to stay up and watch. It lasted past midnight, I think. Wow what an atmosphere. Pat Summerall and Rick Barry were both great on the mic. That Skyhook by Kareem! Then the Celtics won game 7 easily lol. Still a great memory for me.

Watched this Series as a 3rd grader- first NBA season I followed. I wanted the replica uniform tops they had at the Broadway Department store so badly. Pretty rare to see NBA fan merchandise in those days.

I remember watching game 6 and game 7, I was 13 years old at the time growing up as a Bucks fans and watching the Celtics winning game 7. It was very hurting at the time and it still does to this day but the Celtics was just the better team and I forgot Lucius Allen didn't even play in that series but Boston was just better.

Hard to argue. I’d also put Elvin Hayes, Walt Frazier and the guy on the mic for this game, Rick Barry in that company too. Another great who, along with Oscar, retired after this season was Jerry West.

@@thomasleary2814 good points.. west and Oscar were not much older than havlicek but they ran down a lot quicker.. all the guys you mentioned were at the top for such song time.. you could make a great case for all of them

Rick Barry never broadcast a Celtics game in which he didn't root against them.
