Deadass. Funky’s rebuilds are at the very least semi-realistic, often very much so. Other KZbinrs flip players that are WORTHLESS in real life for high 1st round picks- and then flip those for superstars. Like its not interesting to watch if you’re going to just abuse 2Ks AI.

Besides the seeding and some of the players switching teams (Blake/Kyrie), I found this to be extremely realistic about what could happen in real life. Year 1, the Lakers will win around 50 games and lose in the second round to either the Warriors/Rockets due to lacking spacing and a secondary scorer. Next offseason, consider Klay to the Lakers as a done deal. Draymond declined an extension that would have paid him 20+ million and the Warriors are already 20+ million over the cap. There is a 0% chance they can keep the Core 4 together. It's a numbers game. There is no pay cut KD or any of them could take to make it work,,,,unless they agree to a vet min. Even if they each took 5 million pay cuts each, you'd be looking at an inconceivable luxury tax. We're talking more than the 150 million OKC would have paid if Melo were still on the roster.
