Every one needs to find out which setting works for them the best. For me Shot/Layup timing profile being set to normal risk/reward works best since it literally says that its the most similar to previous 2k games. Then i had my shot release cue set to setpoint since that's what i had it on in 2k24. I went from not being able to make shots to greening 7 or 8 shots out of 10. Following guides from youtube creators is fine, but if their guide is not working then you need to find out what works best for yourself. Not because it works for alot of people doesn't mean it will work for you as well. Trial and error and learning the game is the best way.

confused with how you can tune the visual cue in the jumpshot creator & then we have the setting in controller settings. when tf do i release the shot.

the controller setting one is only for NBA player jumpshots. the one you choose in jumpshot creator is the cue you go off of

Nice vid man. Learned some things that I'll definitely be changing when I get home. High risk and no meter being the big ones. I'm too good to not be playing with those. I personally use y for cuts myself. I've been owning people with that. Never thought of messing with full receiver control. Just seems like it would be useful for cuts only but i'm too used to using y for it anyways. We shall see

If you have a custom jumpshot that takes over the timing setting. The other settings you might have to save it in the mycareer settings

Shooting is a bit challenging. I'm playing mynba so each player has different timing. Right before I went to sleep I was getting the hang of it

AI literally refuses to cut to the basket now so the fact they even have it as an option when they don't even fucking do it in the first place is stupid as fuck and so like 2K! I spent hours trying to figure out why the hell I couldn't get the AI to cut the hoop while holding triangle all for me to finally end up realizing they removed it from the game or nerfed it soooooo badly that it's utterly useless! That's like taking away the ability to run the football in Madden!
