After 8 years of MT, I'm not coming back, I'm good. This year made me play other games and showed me how much I don't need Myteam in my life. After how they shook our pockets and gave people no choice but to gamble, They are now saying "ok you gave us enough, so now you can have AH back." But we all know that they will find a way to make the best cards gamble only again.

It’s ironic that they’ve effectively killed card collecting in a game mode they still promote as their “card collecting mode”. Having to lock-in individual cards to count towards collector level basically makes them worthless. No more reaching your desired level and then selling back all your unwanted cards. As much as the game overhaul looks like an improvement on a superficial level, dig a little deeper and its obvious the two main objectives are still 1) make more money from (micro)transactions and 2) keep players in game longer, which ultimately feeds objective 1.

I'm not sure why the onus is on the buyer anyway. If a 500k card has a 100k BIN everyone is just supposed to ignore it? They need to stop it on the seller's side so you literally cannot post a card with BIN more than 20% below the average purchase price in the last 24 hours. No verification necessary.

I doubt the auction house will be remotely the same. The option to buy mt will still be in the game and with transaction verification they control the auction house prices. Instead of having to buy vc you will now have to buy mt from them to buy cards that they won’t allow to be sold under a certain price

The purpose is to have a way to discard cards you don't want and acquire cards you do. There will still be a range of prices to buy low and sell high even if they stop stupid people from putting cards up for 10-30% of their value. Now if they actually do BAN people for sniping or just playing the market, _that_ is intolerable.

To be fair most people who follow DBG are budget players. This has always been a NMS focused channel and my guess is most people who watch this are like DBG in that they care more about the 3k cards than the 300k cards The player market was great for whales -- so good they had to go to gamble only -- but terrible for budget players; people who like to use a wide variety of cards; and collectors.
