why? because he doesnt demand the ball every possession, he's a team player, he doesnt thump his chest after ever single damn play? people who call tim duncan boring are the same ones who says that the nba is full of thugs and showboats. duncan is everything the nba and david stern wants, a humble superstar that doesnt cause contreversy.

Give coach Popovich credit. It is the system that he beat into the heads of these Spurs players that helps make Tim Duncan so great. It is a style of basketball that everyone hates (defense first + halfcourt offense). In a run and gun system Tim would definitely be over the hill by now. With Pop's system, Tim will be great for the next five years (and good after that).

I know what you're saying, he's the best player of this generation, and the best power forward to ever play the game, I just thought it was funny how 90% of the time on the court he has the same look on his face. P.S. My friends uncle is the assistant coach of the Spurs, Mike Budenholzer. You may not believe me but its 100% true, so I know quite a bit about the Spurs.

I love the Spurs but I think that ship might have sailed this year when they lost to the Thunder, great last push but barring getting some more players it might be the end of the runs. His legendary status is solidified and was after 07 already, don't sweat it! If he gets one more I will be thrilled yes, but it won't kill the way I see him if not.
@Da1shocker16 жыл бұрын
LMAO! He was clearly the best player in that draft. Nobody in there right mind would've passed up on him.
@AmISteven15 жыл бұрын
e.g. When MJ joining washington, he still able to score 40 or more even they can't make the playoff -.- It can't be avoid the old and injury, that's why they trade for RJ, and Bowen also contribute a lot in defensive side ; remember 2003 playoff, David Robenson also contribute to the team . Rational to say, rebuild always is a process for every team, but we need to thank you to the players that show the good game to the fans
