How the hell is Liverpool's journey after the final at all relevant to the final itself? That Liverpool team finished 4th in the Premier League and 25 points behind Man City. They were mainly carried by Salah's goals (who handily was taken care of by Ramos) and had a leaky defence with a poor GK that meant they were easily beatable. They conceded 6 goals in the semis to Roma of all teams. It wasn't until Alisson came in and Van Dijk had settled in that they became one of the world's best.
