The only thing the haters seem to remember about this series is that LeBron got "bailed" out by Ray Allen. They don't talk about LeBron's triple double in game 6, or his record tying 37 points in game 7, they only mention Ray Allen "bailing" him out. People like Skip Bayless think that clutch means the last 30 seconds of a game or buzzer beaters but that's wrong. It doesn't get any more clutch than game 7 of the NBA finals, or game 6 if your team is down in the series. I'm not a fan nor a hater of LeBron, I can just show respect when I see greatness.
@alib69369 жыл бұрын

Why even make the statement that he's clutch if the way you respond is by mentioning an obvious fact that he has teammates? Jordan and Bryant had teammates too, and they're clutch players. Lebron obviously isn't clutch if he almost lost game 6 with his missed threes and turnovers in the final minutes. Having clutch teammates doesn't make you clutch, fucking idiot.
@StayVigilantG9 жыл бұрын
One shot and a few free throws don't make you a clutch player, I'm sorry. He closed the game out, but didn't do so the game before. Can't be considered clutch if you only do it once in 2 games in my opinion.

Lebron did help in game 6 he cut down the lead to 2 with a huge three without his three they would have went home. And are you forgetting that heat were down 10 entering the fourth quarter? Chandler Greskamp How do you know that he would've missed the jumper? He's hit a plethora of a clutch shots.
@ChanTheMan19968 жыл бұрын
When your up 90-88 and take a shot with 31 seconds left there is some pressure but not much. When it's tied 90-90 and you take a shot to go for the lead there is a monumental amount of pressure especially in the final minute of a game 7. And he wouldn't have taken that shot. If it had been tied the spurs would have gotten set on defense and LeBron wouldn't have gotten that open shot. One play, one make, or one miss can completely change the outcome. If Marco Bellinelli hadn't hit that 3 in the 3rd qtr of game 3 of the 2014 nba finals to put the spurs back up 10 in the midst of that heat run it would have at least been a tight game down the stretch and since miami was at home they probably would have won.

he was wide open. Spurs used the wrong strategy that year. they gave him space daring him to shoot because he is so difficult to guard. I don't consider that a clutch shot. it would be a better shot if there was hard defense on him.

Crazy to think how much the leagues changed since then,Ray Allen,D Wade,Bosh,Duncan,Grenobli,Parker,all retired. Udonis Haslem holds the record for the most years spent with one team by a player,LeBron is joining AD,Dwight Howard,Boogie,and Danny Green in LA,Kawhi just won a chip with the raptors vs golden state and is a favorite to win in LA with the clippers and PG,oh and also LeBron Continued his streak in the finals and went to 8 straight. Crazy. Lots of the players in this series are both record holders and legends in one way or another. Easily one of the best series’ ever.

LeBron is so damn clutch. it's scary. Offensive dagger. Defensive steal. Sinks all his free throws. Against arguably the greatest dynasty in sports winning in three damn decades. It's insane that the three rings LeBron has is over 1. Durant, Westbrook, Harden, Ibaka. 2. Popovich, Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Kawhi. 3. 73-9 Warriors. No one has ever had tougher competition in the Finals than the GOAT.
@182Burritos8 жыл бұрын
2017 NBA Finals will be Cavaliers vs Spurs. Lebron avenges his 2007 loss a year after avenging his 2014 loss to the Warriors and Cleveland beats San Antonio in 7 games. Lebron James wins his 4th Championship and 4th Finals MVP. Finals record goes to 4-4 and becomes the 4th greatest player of ALL TIME behind Kareem-Abdul Jabaar, Michael Jordan, and JAVALE MCGEE!

Magic Johnson instead of JAVALE MCGEE obviously, but I think LeBron, in this hypothetical, would become (in my opinion) indisputable second best of all time, with the only realistic way for him to become the greatest in the eyes of the general public being winning 6 or more chips.

Even though the Spurs got revenge in 2014, it still doesn’t feel right. Like, they proved they were better than the Heat, but it still didn’t feel right. Because when the Spurs beat the Heat in 2014, it was so great obvious that it would happen that it took away from the excitement. When the heat beat the Spurs though, the Spurs were so close and then got their hearts ripped out in games 6 and 7. I won’t feel like the Spurs got TOTAL revenge until they do the same thing to the Heat and show them what it felt like to them in game 6 and 7.

For ten years I was trying to sell this matchup to all kinds of fans (It almost happened twice before in both 2005 and 2012, with each team who did get in winning the chip both times). I knew a long time ago a Heat-Spurs NBA Finals would go down to the wire. Thank god for home court advantage:)
