"Getting Kyrie involved"...? He is involved. He has shot 18/19 shots a game. This isn't the OkC series where he only had 6 shots in a game. Actually, it might help Dallas if he did only have 6 shots a game if he is going to hold the ball, waste clock and shoot 35%.

The Lakers offered what they could afford and hoped that all the ancillary benefits (living in LA like a celeb, raising profile, massive bankable notoriety) would make up for the lower direct $$$. Why drag them? Hurley has an amazing job, is on the verge of making history, and all of that will have future value. That’s hard to beat anyway.

Luka better get a 40-point triple double tonight to shift the series. Kyrie needs a 25-piece double-double with assists. If not, Celtics are going to definitely win this series. 😂
@UnconventionalReasoning6 ай бұрын
The reason there is so much talk about Tatum is that, since 1980, only one team has won the championship without a Top-50 all time player: * Lakers [Magic, Kareem] * Celtics [Bird, McHale] * Sixers [Dr J, Moses] * Pistons [Isiah] * Bulls [Michael, Scottie] * Rockets [Dream] * Spurs [Tim, Admiral] * Lakers [Shaq, Kobe] * Pistons [ --- ] * Heat [Wade, Shaq] * Celtics [KG] * Mavericks [Dirk] * Heat [LeBron, Wade] * Warriors [Steph; KD] * Raptors [Kawhi ?] * Lakers [LeBron] * Bucks [Giannis] * Nuggets [Joker] * Celtics [ --- ] or Mavericks [Luka] People expect that Tatum needs to be a Top-50 player for the Celtics to win. But instead, if they win they're going to be the other most balanced champion like the 2004 Pistons.

bontemps, as a boston homer, left some meat scraps on the table here... paul pierce didnt merely win a title, he did it by outplaying kobe, and stealing the ball from him on several occasions in the pivotal game 4 in LA. thats why he never has to say he's sorry. he wasnt just there for the ride
