he’s almost correct. with the 17M for 6 years deal he’d be earning about 2.83M per year. but he sign 600k/1 year. that’s about 79% loss on a yearly basis. might have been 66% if you take away the 830k.😂

Here's the reality ... if you're not a top 20 player in the league, you're a role player. I don't care if you're the number one option on a crappy team, you're still a league role player. If you're a role player, take the best the market offers you NOW! Athletes have a short earning window, they face potential career ending injury and there are ALWAYS 60 new guys a year trying to take your spot.

bonzi wells signing for 2 years 5 million instead of 5 years 36 million isnt a 31 million dollar lost. since its 5 million in two years, so if we scale it to 5 years it would be 12.5 milion, meaning he would have lost out 23.5 million. i know its nitpicky but the math wrong

I blame math. Or lack of understanding there of. If you turn down 100 mill because it's not 150, when the risk is that get close to 0, that's just bad judgement all day every day.
