People talking bout Wemby and Chet but I love this dude. He’s just on a team where he can’t get much highlights. He’s solid

Edey inside is automatic. Never asked to shoot 3 pointers in college. Now Edey is 7 - 12 from 3😂. But he'll never move out of the center, where no one can guard him. Donovan Clingan tried to guard him one on one in National Championship Game, and it was an epic fail, and maybe the only area of difficulty for UConn in that game. In the end, they had to throw in the towel and double Edey, who still almost had 40. He'll always feast in NBA, where any double will almost always be too late, plus dude can pass. Grizzlies are loaded and will not need Edey to be a leading player, but mark my words, he'll get better every month, and make the Grizzlies look like geniuses for drafting him"so early"😅

At Purdue Edey would post up and it was automatic 2! Purdue won many games last year all the way to NC. So, posting is better in the long term. Yes the 3 has an advantage but I would rather take the almost automatic 2 than a likely 3.

Yeah I feel you. Once he adds some upper body strength he's going to be a problem on the block if they run throw it to him

Zach is 305-310 lbs. He's stronger than anyone on the court. His speed and quickness is already faster than a year ago at Purdue.

I like Zach Edey as much as anyone but I'm honest enough to admit that he's more likely to be a productive niche player, a solid starter averaging well into double digits in scoring and rebounding for several years but a player with enough athletic and defensive liabilities who likely can't be counted on in the clutch that his impact will be limited. I'd LOVE to be wrong, but I don't think I am. Zach Edey basically seems like a larger, poor man's Tim Duncan. I don't know what kind of career Tim Duncan might've had in today's NBA, but I don't think he'd necessarily translate as well, and similarly I think Edey will have moments and productivity, but not necessarily immense sustained impact.

I think you need to watch 4 years of clutch play in college at Purdue. Never got physically tired...and when games required a dog with an edge ....he always got it done!

I think it is more likely that Edey develops his 3-point shooting.

I don’t think Zack can change the game. I love his game but there is to much advantage in three pointers. The cast of players around Zach is to rich with three point shooters to even change his team. Jaren, kenard, bane, huff, aldama and zach himself are all working on their three point shots.
