Hey Levy, I wanted to say thank you for everything. Let me explain myself. I was once a very bad player of chess until one day I came across you. I learn so much from them alone and from only your videos my rating has increased from 300 to 850. Then I still couldn’t beat my friends and retired teachers so i decided to buy your “How to win at chess” book. I’ve looked at every single chapter minimum 10 times. I often used the QR codes to practice everything on Chessly. And now, my rating has just reached 1430 yesterday. I can not thank you enough for your book and wonderful videos but if you see this (which you probably won’t but it’s okay) I just wanted to tell you that to me youre the best chess coach out there. Now I can even beat all my friends and can even win my local tournaments so thank you again so much.

The theme of this video makes me want to mention Simen Agdestein - at the same time as he was at the national soccer team in Norway he was ranked among the top 20 chess players in the world (16th best in june 1989 according to a source, but I can't find the official FIDE lists that far back, and some sources say 17th best - he became the youngest GM in the world in 1985). A knee damage ended his soccer career and also halted his chess career for a while because it was hurting so much he had trouble with concentration. He started the national chess education (sjakklinja på Norges toppidrettsgymnas) and was of course also coach for Magnus for a time.
