So at best he's 8th, but really I would also put Davis & LeBron both over him, and I'm not sure about Durant. I have him over Embiid, Booker, and for now the rest of the field. However, I could see a couple lower guys climb that this postseason. Namely: Edwards, Brunson, maybe even Fox. For me he's 10 or 11🤷🏿‍♂️

All Jokic does is make his team better, he plays hard, he passes, he rebounds, he makes steals, he reads and creates plays, he scores and he wins. He shows up every night and plays hard every game. Sorry he doesn’t play dirty and he doesn’t flop. He doesn’t get many free throws either. If you want someone else to be MVP go ahead and make your case but how do you not see greatness here?

Is this necessarily a good thing? What Jokic does is just increasing the value of his teammates *artificially*. Look at Bruce Brown for example. I am not saying that he's a bad player but because of Jokic, everybody thought Bruce was better than he actually is. So, having Jokic is like a curse. Because he makes his teammates look so much better, other teams would like to give them better contracts and Denver will keep losing those players. Same will happen for PWat. Even AG... He is a super strong juggernaut alongside Jokic but can other teams use him in the way that Jokic does? I am almost certain that the answer is no.

Because of Jokic, Denver operates like a player development center. I was very frustrated by how Watson was playing at the beginning of the season. Now I am actually okay with him because he improved a lot. There is no doubt that Jokic will win the MVP by the way. Especially after all star, they became more serious.

Lebron 2012-2018 is the best player I have ever seen but Jokic these last 4 seasons is close if not better because he has zero weaknesses on offense and Lebron when he locked in was an incredible defender he stopped playing defense consistently 2015-2018 when he came back to Cleveland and saved his best for the playoffs while Jokic is just relentless every night playing hard doing all of the intangible things. By the way I started watching basketball in 2001 becoming a fan because of Iverson’s MVP season but I was too young to understand the game then so it was about 04-05 season when Nash was MVP his first season in Phoenix was the first year I became a true NBA fanatic so this year is 20 years of being a fan. So I can’t speak to Duncan, Shaq, Jordan, Hakeem, Magic, Bird,Dr J, Kareem, Wilt, Russell being the best I’ve ever seen because their peaks came before i started watching regularly or before I was born. So Jokic and LeBron are 1 and 2 over Not in exact order Kobe, Steph, Giannis, Kawhi, KD, Dirk, Wade, Luka, Embiid, Dwight, KG, Nash, AD etc

I'm reading some comments after the DEN vs BOS game. Context next: why Tatum wasn't taken seriously as an MVP candidate. And then some kids, I guess, defend Tatum case by saying Joker had 4 points against weak Detroit. I mean, WTF??? If you're a kid, grow up. If you don't know, learn. It's a big difference when a player doesn't want to shoot and instead involves the whole team through numerous assists, and shooting with a bad percentage all the time and calling yourself MVP is a completely different thing.
