lakers in 88 still were a better more experience team. Even in 89. the piston caught a break when Byron Scott tore his hamstring. in practice just before the finals.

@emoryhayes, wrong the Lakers caught a break in 88 when Isiah twisted his ankle and it still took a phantom foul call to get them the win, the Pistons were deeper and better.
