slsstar100 There’s 0 excuse for a professional basketball player to not foul immediately in that situation. Denver can run it down to 3 seconds and they’re up 4. That’s brain dead. That’s like Webber calling timeout when he didn’t have a timeout level braindead. Almost as dumb as JR Smith not putting up a shot last year. People don't realize that Mills and Aldridge both had 5 fouls so they did not want to foul even tho it was the wrong play. Mills had no business being in the game at that moment, Murray hit that go ahead jumper over him with ease. This loss falls entirely on Pop for not subbing White for Mills, White did a much better job on Murray plus he's a better offensive player and did not have as many fouls

Jokic is good but you have to think. Portland is a great shooting team. Okc is not. 3 beat jokic scoring 2. I'm rooting for Portland btw. I think how you guys win is if jokics gets the double team dish out 3. But his teammates have to hit those shots I think that's how this series will be decided. I'm saying Portland has the edge slightly. But i wouldnt be suprised if Denver pulled it out.

6 for 24 (3pt.) and 2 for 20 (3pt.). These percentages are not far fetched with the reliance on 3pt. shooting in the NBA. Highlight reels are hiding the fact that "Three Ball Shooting" are not putting up the kind of points that casual fans are being led to believe. Yes, when the shots are going in teams are keeping the other team at bay, and yes, when teams are hitting those low percentage shots, they are keeping the scores close, but if many of these "Three Ball" players of the current era would be finding themselves either on the bench or off of a team with due to their low 3pt. made vs. attempt ratio. It's a strategic fad that's only going to last for a few more seasons. All that's needed is a team with players who are low post, or mid range shooting assassins, then the other teams will attempt to follow suit.
@livefromthemotherland
@livefromthemotherland 5 жыл бұрын
I’ve been saying this for about two years now. The return of the post player is really gonna rip thru the league because no defense is being played. It’s obvious 3 pt shooting is killing teams that don’t have shooters. Thunder literally shot themselves out of a series. And they aren’t the only team chucking up low percentage shots because of this new trend of “ 3 is more than 2”. That only works if you MAKE them. If not you’re playing with a failing strategy

Both of Portland’s centers, Nurkic and Kanter, are injured. They won’t have anyone to match up with Jokic. If they were healthy I’d say Blazers would win easily, but without their big men it will be tough for them.

Sam Un joker averages 31 12 and 10 because you have no bigs. Dame gonna have to average 40 or close to it.

YoungPT 1989 Isn’t Kanter playing despite his injury? He did pretty well despite it against the thunder. Can at least help. And Meyers Leonard has been decent at times

@@ja1boi I get that, portland is gonna let him do his stuff, kanter couldn't defend him even if he's healthy anyway. Let jokic do his stuff close out everybody else, portland in 6.

YoungPT 1989 How can you say Portland wins easy with Nurk and Kanter healthy when they went 3-1 in season? The only loss was on purpose for better playoff matchups while Kanter was healthy and Nurkic was not. Before that it was often the case the Nuggets weren’t healthy and they still won all the games they tried to win.

Denver matches up well against Portland, especially with a missing Nurkic. Denver went 3-1 this year. The only loss that came was by design to manufacture the seeding.

25 seconds left in regulation, down 4, game 7... If you don't foul immediately under those circumstances then you just don't have that much basketball iq... Pretty ironic when they're supposed to be the best of the best at what they're doing, a professional...
