I play at the rec at the university campus quite a bit. In college I played damn near every day. There was an older black dude that played quite a bit too. Everybody knew him and he chatted with everyone. I'm about 6'2 which is more like a forward at the rec level, but a couple trips up and down people would have me run the point.. He loved my pull up jumper, shot blocking, passing, 3 pointer, and that I was ambidextrous handling it. He gave me the nickname white tmac and it caught on with everybody. That is literally one of the best things in my whole basketball "career". The more I go back and watch Tmac the more I appreciate getting that nick name and the better I feel about my hay day as a player. If people saw anything approximate of Tmac I did good haha.

@@champion4891T-Mac DID have a hall of fame career. He’s on the 75 greatest players of all time list. But it was still cut short, it could’ve went from HOF to top 5-10 all-time. He was clearly better than Kobe here. Kobe admitted it himself on camera. T-Mac was the best player in the world pre-back injury with Orlando. When he messed his back up in 2005 or 2006 it was over. He was permanently dampened.
