Hey David...thanks for the game and I'm looking forward to more. When I get that 1 for the possible pick-off, I disregard the 2 d6's and proceed with the pick-off calculation. In the bottom of the 2nd, you got the 1 and an automatic out and went with the automatic out. The textbook is a little unclear on that one, so now I'm unsure what is correct. Rule 24.1 B.

Hi Dave: Bottom of inning 2 the Reds steal. I take by the rules the 1 on the 20 sider during a steal is a pickoff attempt. The rules don't say to bypass the lead roll, but does say to roll on the second steal number to see if a pickoff or a dive back safely. IOW, nothing stated about keeping the auto outs on a pickoff 1 roll. However, I could see keeping the auto out as a automatic rpo1 & rcs2. If one prefers to do it this way, no biggy. If wrong, please direct me to the rule to keep the auto out on a pickoff 1 roll. I will say SOM is a bit lacking on catching the pitcher's that were good at forcing the pitcher pickoff induced steals of second. I've always took the auto outs as a tweak by SOM for those off precision outlier stealers that steal a lot, but have a bit less success. I guess the auto out is what is called a tweener! 😂

Hey Dave, next time you are tutoring Guterman try and teach him the save rule. He just doesn't get it at all. A pitcher can come in with tying run on base, at bat or on deck, throw 1 pitch and get a save, he doesn't realize that. Also, like other day Morehead pitched finally 3 innings of team win, that's a save too.

Do you not use the advanced injury system for pitchers? I noticed when there was a 6-10 roll in the first couple innings you didn’t check for a pitcher injury.
