Only small agencies with a few hundred cars or less do that, but more than half of our fleet is still fairly recent and we're still getting our money's worth out of those. Plus, there are more new trains in this order than there are of the oldest cars to replace, which should help run better service. The Moscow subway has had these kinds of trains for years. The NYC subway has finally caught up. Wait, I take it back, it is not even close. Where are the cellphone charging outlets on every seat, like in Moscow subways? Not to mention, the NYC subway looks like CR*P compared to the Moscow subway.
