Put some respect behind Goff's name - at this point in the season there isn't a question he is the MOST VALUABLE PLAYER on his team. He's making everyone around him better. Hard stop

Best 6 week stretch in NFL history for a QB. Highest completion % in 6 week stretch and highest QBR in 6 week stretch in NFL history. And most importantly...6 wins. Lamar putting up stats but they've lost 3 games. How is Lamar favorite and Goff is seemingly miles behind. And Lamar has Henry. Goff needs respect behind his name. Give the man credit for what he's done this year. If lions get #1 seed in NFC there is zero reason he isn't the MVP

These analysts only look at the history of the team as a whole instead of what is currently happening. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to include the full teams history in the case of Goff for MVP but they all do it. Its a bias as well as a stigma that is stuck with the Lions organization and its very unfortunate. Meanwhile the Bears still suck and they were praising Caleb Williams as if he was going to be the league MVP in his rookie year but has done practically nothing. He doesnt even set up his team to win. Its been their defense thats kept them in games.

If Brady was still playing and having a season like this he'd be the MVP favorite hands down. Goff has 2 thing's working against him the 1st is he's Jared Goff and the 2nd is he plays in Detroit.
