NC State has that lethal combo of guards. 2 shooters and 1 creator/Penetrator... with the BIG BOY in the front court and a very UNDERRATED PF who cleans up the boards. And 2-3 bench guys who can get you 10-15 pts on a good night... team is scary and wouldn't shock me if they made a Final 4 run. -Pac 12 Fan

Calling Middlebrooks for a foul when that Oakland player practically jumped him, missing the Oakland backcourt call near the end, and then calling Diarra for fouls when on at least two of them it was either all ball or he had hands up and didn’t even hit the shooter had me in fits. So for the Kentucky fans that are going to come watch this. The only thing NC State did better than Kentucky (THAT WAS IN THEIR CONTROL) was rebound the ball Kentucky loss the rebound battle by 1, NC State won it by 14. Also on Offense NC State stuck with running the offense through the big. For Kentucky this would have been Tre which they did on the first possession and scored. I expected the plan to be have DJ attack to collapse the defense then kick or be ready for the offensive reb. When Reed was in have Tre at the high post let the defense crash and kick to the open 3. I trust Cal to have made an effective game plan, which is evident in the only looks we got we just missed the shots we normally make🤷🏿‍♂️

If you’re coming here to complain about the scoreboard and say it was rigged, let me lay it out for you. Oakland initially got points for an NC 3 at 2:10. When Oakland got the next 3 at 2:17, the points were added to NC state to make up for the initial mistake. Scoreboard was correct from that moment on.
